| My name is John, and I am The EggMan. Which is a name originally derived from the Beatles song "I Am The Walrus", and is now used as my username on most other websites, and finally, here, for my own website. | ![]() |

Computing runs in the family, but I started learning about websites at school when I was just 14. I quickly picked up the
basics of HTML, and by the time the rest of the class had reached the point of creating underlined text, I had a 26 page website using
frames, embedded video, audio, and java applets. |
| I didnt do much web design from that point on until a few years later when my very good
friend Jen taught me how to build layouts using Adobe Photoshop CS2, and use some basic PHP scripts. Since then I've spent my time
learning as many different coding and design techniques as I can, and progressing my designs further with each site I complete. |

My equipment starts with my surroundings. I am constantly listening to music and looking at various forms of art/design
to use as inspiration for my own work. These things play a very large role in my creative process and are definitely things that
I consider essential "equipment". |
| Thereafter my obvious main piece of equipment is my computer, which is currently an Apple iBook G4, pictured at the top
of every page on this site. It has two keyboards because sometimes I type so fast that I need two keyboards to accomodate my fingers
of fury. I create my sites using Adobe Photoshop CS2, and manual coding. |

My final piece of equipment, (and what I consider to be another of the most important) is my Canon 400D Digital SLR Camera.
It is impossible to create a great website without great photos, and with a little know-how, this camera allows me to take pictures of
a quality and resolution suitable to form the backbone of my websites. |
